I am wondering from people who bet, How does it work exactly…
Like when you get the sheet, or page online How exactly is the most common way to bet
I heard that you like must choose like 6 dif games or sumtin and choose who wins by how much.
I just got hooked on this relatively new sports betting site. It give you free money to start with and you can make real money. I have like 50 cents right now but i just started the other day. You guys should check it out, it's at
http://www.centsports.com/?opcode=506997
so easy and best yet its free and you can cash out once you get at least 20 bucks. the advertisers pay for the money because you have to see an ad if you want to get a bonus on your bet. Not too bad of a deal i think.

I've gotten kind of addicted to Centsports, and I'm trying to figure out the most mathematically advantageous system. I usually bet on baseball, as that's the sport I know the most about. I don't bet on point spreads, only straight money lines. My question is whether it's better to bet on multiple teams that you think are likely to win, and thus spread the risk out. The alternative is to pick one game you think is a sure thing, and put your entire bankroll on that one bet. Suppose you have $5.00 to gamble with. Would you bet 1.00 on 5 different games, or 5.00 on one game? If you pick 5 games you're more likely to lose at least one of them, and thus your payoff is lower. So is your risk. The one big bet pays off more (probably), but if you lose you're busted. Can anybody give me a serious rationale for one system over the other?
And please, don't just badmouth Centsports in your answer. I'm not asking you to sign up, I just want to hear your thoughts on various systems.
The aim whether your playing poker, stocks, sports betting or whatever is to try to get the best return on risk for your bankroll. Diversification is one way to reduce overall risk to your bankroll.
I got trained in dry finance lectures so I'm not sure how to put this clearly but heres a wiki link that had the best explanation
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diversification_(finance)
With your $5, its best to spread them but it should depend on the odds. Spreading $5 on all long shots is still overall quite risky and I might rather spread $4 on favourites and $1 on a high risk long shot if I really think theres a chance. Venture capitalists basically work on making alot high risk bets but it works because they have huge amounts of money to spread over many bets.
In Vegas and looking to gamble a bit on college football for tomorrow. Picked up the sheet w/ all spreads and stuff on it and a little bit confused. There are 3 separate columns of numbers. The first is the spread and I know how that works. Second I’m pretty sure is the over/under (numbers in the 40’s and 50’s). Third one I’m vaguely aware of. Pretty sure it is the payout, but I thought that the point of the spread made all the games even money. Also was wondering how parlays work. Know you have to win all the bets, but have heard conflicting accounts on the payouts.
Also, some games don't have the over/under and the 'payout' (something like -200).
Okay, the three columns are Point Spread, Total (over/under), and the MONEYLINE. The Moneyline is the payout for taking one of the teams to win Straight Up, with no spread, just the winner of the game. The (-)negative numbers indicate the amount needed to wager in order to make a $100 profit. The (+)positive number indicates how much money you will win if you risk $100. You do get your wager amount returned as well.
A parlay is when you make 2-12 (sometimes more) picks and they all must win for you to win. You place a single wager amount on the entire parlay. So if you have a parlay consisting of 5 picks, then you can bet $10 on that group of selections. If all 5 win, you win. The payout is as follows for each match you can convert the odds to a decimal so if you are choosing a pick that pays +100 or 2/1 in decimal form it is 2.00. For simplicity purposes, let’s say that all five of your selections are 2.00. You simply multiply the odds of all of the selections together, then you multiply that number by your wager amount. So in this instance it looks like so, 2×2x2×2x2=32 Your total return is 32 x (wager amount) = total return I would not recommend placing parlay wagers of more than 4 selections.
If there are no numbers in a particular column, then that option is “OFF” or “off the board” meaning they are not taking any wagers on that option for that particular game.
You will find additional information on the various wagering options at http://GamblingReviewsSite.com/betfootball It is a ‘for dummies’ type of explanation of football wagering. You will also find free picks and tips too! Good luck and enjoy your vacation.

Poker, Slots, Lotto, Sports betting? What has the easiest chance of making money?
I would say sports betting. With slots and lotto, it is completely luck. With poker, you can develop some skill, but you can't really control more than a single hand. With sports betting, you can get to know the various teams. This knowledge of the teams would give you a better than average chance of winning.
